Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your V1 Logbooks account and the data linked to it at any time.
You do not need the app installed to make a request — use the form below.
Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open V1 Logbooks and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Pilot Account.
- Type your full name to confirm, then tap Delete.
Your account and data are removed from our servers straight away.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
Fill in this form using the email address registered on your V1 Logbooks account. We will
reply to that address to confirm the request came from you, then delete your account
within 7 days and email you once it is done.
You can also email support@v1logbooks.com from your registered email
address with the subject "Delete my account".
What gets deleted
- Your profile and contact details
- Every flight and simulator entry in your logbook, including its edit history
- Licences, medicals, ratings and recurrent training records, with any scanned documents
- Previous experience and eGCA gap hour entries
- Your copy of your eGCA logbook and eGCA upload history held by us
- Backups stored on our servers
- Crew contacts, custom airfields and app settings
What we keep
We keep only your DGCA eGCA ID and the dates of your free trial, with no flight or personal
data attached. This stops the same eGCA ID from claiming a second free trial after deleting
and re-creating an account. See section 7 of our
Privacy Policy.
Before you delete
- Download a copy first if you may need your logbook later (Settings → Full Backup).
We cannot restore a deleted account.
- Deleting your V1 Logbooks account does not delete or change anything on the
DGCA eGCA portal. Flights already uploaded there stay on your eGCA record.
- Data stored on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
- You can sign up again later with the same email, but you will start with an empty logbook.
